Packaging according to request, some are sent directly in the form of pallets, and some are packaged individually with a label.
How It Made?
Harvesting: Mature coconuts are harvested from the coconut palms and left to dry for a few weeks.
Decorticating: Once the coconuts are sufficiently dried, the outer husk is removed using a machine called a decorticator.
Retting: The husks are then soaked in water for several months to allow the fibers to loosen and soften.
Cleaning: After retting, the fibers are washed to remove any impurities and then dried in the sun.
Hackling: The dried fibers are then combed to remove any remaining debris and to separate the long fibers from the shorter ones.
Baling: The fibers are then baled and packed for transportation.
- Collection: The outer husk of mature coconuts is removed using a machine called a decorticator, leaving behind the fibrous material known as cocofiber.
- Processing: The cocofiber is then soaked in water to soften it and make it easier to separate the finer particles.
- Sieving: The soaked cocofiber is passed through a series of sieves to separate the finer particles, which are then washed to remove any remaining impurities.
- Drying: The washed cocopeat is then spread out to dry in the sun.
- Compressing: Once the cocopeat is dry, it is compressed into bricks or blocks using a machine.
