Revolutionize your business with sustainable solutions. Discover the power of cocofiber and cocopeat - the natural, versatile materials for a better future.

Our Products

COCOFIBER

Cocofiber, also known as coconut fiber, is a natural fiber extracted from the outer husk of coconuts. It is a versatile material that is used in a variety of applications, including as a soil conditioner, erosion control material, and as a component in the manufacturing of mattresses, furniture, and other products. Cocofiber is a sustainable and eco-friendly material, as it is derived from a renewable resource and is biodegradable. Its high tensile strength, durability, and resistance to rot and moisture make it a popular choice in many industries.

COCOPEAT

Cocopeat, also known as coir pith or coir dust, is a byproduct of the coconut industry. It is made from the fibrous husks of coconuts that have been processed for their cocofiber. Cocopeat is a lightweight, soilless growing medium that is ideal for use in horticulture and hydroponics. It is highly absorbent, holding up to 10 times its weight in water, and provides good aeration and drainage for plant roots. Cocopeat is also a sustainable and eco-friendly material, as it is a renewable resource and is biodegradable. It is a popular choice among growers and gardeners who want to reduce their environmental impact and promote sustainable agriculture.

How It Made?

How cocofiber is made

  1. Harvesting: Mature coconuts are harvested from the coconut palms and left to dry for a few weeks.

  2. Decorticating: Once the coconuts are sufficiently dried, the outer husk is removed using a machine called a decorticator.

  3. Retting: The husks are then soaked in water for several months to allow the fibers to loosen and soften.

  4. Cleaning: After retting, the fibers are washed to remove any impurities and then dried in the sun.

  5. Hackling: The dried fibers are then combed to remove any remaining debris and to separate the long fibers from the shorter ones.

  6. Baling: The fibers are then baled and packed for transportation.

How cocopeat is made
  1. Collection: The outer husk of mature coconuts is removed using a machine called a decorticator, leaving behind the fibrous material known as cocofiber.
  2. Processing: The cocofiber is then soaked in water to soften it and make it easier to separate the finer particles.
  3. Sieving: The soaked cocofiber is passed through a series of sieves to separate the finer particles, which are then washed to remove any remaining impurities.
  4. Drying: The washed cocopeat is then spread out to dry in the sun.
  5. Compressing: Once the cocopeat is dry, it is compressed into bricks or blocks using a machine.

Benefits and Uses
